They say everyone will have fifteen minutes of fame in
their lifetime, here's
ours:
Chris, Gary and Jay
got their musical start as members of the highly acclaimed Progressive
Rock/Metal band DIVINE REGALE. In 1996, DR scored a deal with
Metal Blade Records (the label that launched the careers of Metallica and The
Goo Goo Dolls) and released the album Ocean Mind worldwide in 1997.
Chris is currently working on a retrospective DVD of the band, check out a
sample here:
In the 80's Ralph and
Renée were featured twice on
MTV's Basement Tapes Competition. Unsigned artists could submit their
videos and a call-in vote would determine which video was played live on MTV!
Kind a 80's version of American Idol! Their band Friday won with
their song You Don't Want To Know, and they were featured below in the
video for Everybody Loves a Hero by President.
In the late 90's
Jay was the road keyboardist with Progressive Metal heroes Fates Warning.
He toured the US and Europe and appeared on a double live album
(Still Life) and
two DVDs (Live at the Dynamo and The View From Here). Here's a clip from a show in Athens, Greece in 1999
featured on The View From Here:
